Stichting Music for Peace

Dutch cultural non-profit charity foundation

The “Music for Peace” Foundation was founded in 2021 in the Netherlands by passionate musicians Maria Nemtsova (piano), Katja Pitelina (transverse flute) and Vitaly Vatulya (saxophone). This Foundation is based on an International Humanitarian Project that organises annual charity concerts and master classes in various places around the world where people have suffered from natural, terrorist, military or political disasters.

Its mission is to present classical music from 14th to 21st-century repertoire in a moving and accessible way for a wide audience. Promotion of Dutch art abroad, Ukrainian and Russian music in The Netherlands. Therefore, combinations with film, literature, dance, theatre and visual arts are often sought.
