Artist, performer, performance artist, sculptor
Use of performance and action practices is quite typical for Andrey. He is mainly concerned about existential matters that any person would think of like confrontation of life and death, mortality and perishing of the human body.
Following the Conceptualist approach, the artist employs different media in his work, including drawing, painting, installation and sculpture.
He uses texts and recovered objects, and makes bread sculptures, which become a metaphor of vivid corporality.
The artist was born in Moscow in 1979.
